Drop
off at airports: I
know it is one of your wishes and we get asked this question many
times, but we won't deliver bikes at the airports. We don't for
several reasons:
a)
recent safety precautions mean there is little space to manouver in
airports with vans and trailors. so finding the place to unload a
bike becomes tricky business.
b) if your flight is delayed or if your luggage is lost we will be
waiting for hours before we can hand over the bike. Will you pay our
hourly rate for this delay? could workout very expensive for you.
c) for much less we can get a professional driver to meet you as you
exit customs and drive you in the quickest possible way to our
rental location. They have special parking places and can work
around flight delays.
d) trying to unpack and repack your luggage in the middle of the
road isn't easy at the best of times... but what if it rains
e) at our rental garage you will find somewhere dry to change
clothes, somewhere easy to unpack and repack and a place where you
can leave whatever doesn't fit in the bike's panniers.
convinced?
I hope so ; )!
