Dual Sport Tours of Italy

Discover a whole new meaning to back roads. We'll be able to show you parts of Italy that only few Italians have actually seen themselves. Away from the crowds, you'll experience a whole new dimension in motorcycle touring in Italy.

To do this we have chosen the Austrian KTM LC4 640 enduro (10 bikes). This trusty friend will be able to tackle tarmac and dirt leaving you in total control. Our pace is touring with an enormous respect for nature and the places we pass. We are able to access private grounds and national and regional parks, otherwise forbidden to motorcycles. We have been able to be granted permission on the basis of trust.

We start off in Tuscany, but soon we'll add, Sicily, Sardinia, Lazio, Umbria, Abruzzi and even Calabria.

Tuscany

5 days from Monday to Friday start and end in Florence. Two nights in Siena and two nights in Arezzo set up a pretty amazing ride through the Tuscan countryside, like you've never seen it before.

We cover 100-150km (60-90 miles) per day. 70% of the time we will be on gravel, and 30% of the time will be spent on tarmac. We try as much as we can to keep away from traffic and immersed in nature.

Along the way we'll visit places like S. Gimignano, Montalcino, S. Galgano, Pienza, etc., which make up the classic Tuscan tours, but we get there out of nowhere. From the tranquil peace of the countryside, we turn a corner and we reach civilisation. We turn another corner and as if by magic everyone vanishes.

We end our days in towns like Arezzo and Siena, which have great sightseeing and shopping opportunities. We'll have lunch on the go, either stopping in a country inn (usually if it is raining) or picnicking in amazing scenic spots our guides know so well.

As the pace is very relaxed, giving you plenty of opportunities for pictures, pillions are welcome too. Non riding partners will be transferred by car between evening stopovers together with your luggage. If there is a big demand we can also have a 4x4 follow the bikes on the route, but this will cost extra.

There will be two guides on motorcycles always with you to help out and guide the way. Groups will be made up of a minimum of 4 bikes and a maximum of 10.

Prices and dates will follow shortly.
