beverages:

the range of possible beverages with dinners is so great that we prefer to leave these out completely. You are welcome to offer drinks to other tour members or order your preferred wine, or beer, and have it for your self. It is entirely up to you. You decide what you do. And you pay for what you drink.

Some of you don't drink alcohol. Be sure that you won't end up paying for someone else's booze, unless you decide to offer this. It will never be too much trouble to divide the bill amongst people on the tour. It is only fair. You pay for what you drink and eat. And only if everyone is agreed, the bill will be averaged out amongst all.

In some out of the way places, like farm restaurants (agriturismo), the bill is put together by the "head" and not by what you have actually eaten or drunken. This is done by the owner of the place and not by CIMT. You will be advised before hand if this is the case. In these places usually you'll be able to have a 3 course Italian meal with local wine for around 15/20 euro all in.

VERY IMPORTANT: CIMT DOES NOT ALLOW THE CONSUMPTION OF ANY ALCOHOL AT LUNCH TIME OR DURING RIDING TIME. Once you are at the tour hotel and bike is parked for the day, you are free to enjoy a drink or two. But always with moderation. CIMT staff will confiscate your bike, if you are not fit to ride in the morning.
