accommodation:
as we do not run tours with huge numbers of participants (max 14 people), we are able to stay in smaller family run hotels, where we can savour Italian hospitality to the fullest.
We choose "in town" hotels, so that once we have reached our destination, you have something to explore on foot. We stay in the most interesting towns available in the area and choose hotels for their charm and friendliness. We also try to stay in each town a minimum of 2 consecutive nights. This way you won't be constantly packing and unpacking, and will also be able to absorb the spirit of each town that we stay in.
If traffic is one of your concerns, outside of the big cities, Italian town traffic is very easy to deal with. None of the madness you can witness in Florence, Rome, Naples or Milan.
The general level of hotels we use falls between 3 and 4 star. We tend not to go for luxury hotels, but for clean and comfortable ones with a genuine good atmosphere and good parking for our bikes and van.
breakfast is always included
